Anyone in the Mexico area would really need the help of HR Mexico to survive the prospecting life of an applicant. It wouldn’t be easy to get a job these days, especially because of the recession. But if you know where to go, then surely it will give you the edge than all the other applicants.
When I was in college, I thought working in an HR environment is easy. I found out that it was not. I never found a routinely agonizing job to be something I could excel at. Therefore, after my stint at the National Food Authority I never applied for HR functions ever again. But when I worked in all the other places I have been, I found that HR functions are actually very challenging, if I am not to mention also that it is rather rigorous. But what I never really like was counting and updating for leave credits— UGH!
Anyhow, an HR personnel is a lifesaver and perhaps the saving grace for every applicant who wants to land a job. Imagine yourself applying and the one handling the process is the janitor. Is that good? Not to discount the janitor or anything, but surely HR work is done best by someone from HR. Human Resources offices really know what to give as it is in the HR environment that an employee’s life begins and ends…
