Sometime in our lives, we meet at some point where we are destined to part. At least that’s how I see most of the people that come my way. And for some reasons, I need not build a wall if only to keep strangers out… Some people just become strangers in one way or another… Estranged if that’s how they want, I let them be.. Sometimes it is only good in the beginning, but later on, as we go through the journey together, we realize the persons we deal with are no longer the ones we knew at the start. Strangers… Sometimes, we intentionally remove them from our lives.. Delete them as easily as a click on our keyboards… But then again, sometimes, no matter how much we want to remove people in our lives, they stick, no matter how much we try to unscrew them. Like a stray cat, they always come back if only to seek comfort in your presence or in what comfort you can provide.. But then again… sometimes, like a lost sheep, they come back when they realize they are at home with you….and decide to stay for good. So, when we welcome people in our lives, we never really know what will happen in the end… Should we part with them or build a stronger relationship with them, it’s all in what lies in-between.. Let’s just hope for the best..

What I have noticed about myself is that I am on a frequency, think of a sine wave, of connection with my old and dear friends. My frequency is often very long with infrequent contact but none-the-less sincere connection. I care deeply for all of my friends and although I may not be in touch as often as I should, or even would prefer to, be the connection in me is still strong and deep.
I worry that this is perceived as not being a good friend sometimes, and hope that it is not. I have grown to accept the things that make me who I am and work hard on refining and improving them. If I am not in touch, reach out and poke at me – I am here and did not forget.
